Ingredients
- 2 lbs high quality white chocolate, like Lindt’s (do not use chocolate chips)
- 1 cup of crushed candy canes
- 2 tablespoons peppermint extract
Directions
- Place candy canes in a plastic bag and hammer into ¼-inch chunks or smaller.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
- Combine candy cane chunks with white chocolate (add peppermint extract at this point).
- Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment or wax paper and let it set.
NOTE: Instead of white chocolate, you can use vanilla CandiQuik or Almond Bark (found only at Wal-mart in CA). Then you can skip the double boiler and follow the package instructions to melt it all in the oven. So much easier and just as delicious!
